Honours Board

Since 2020 Seido Sunnybank has awarded five awards to students at the End of Year Party.

Spirit of Seido Award

This award is voted on by the students and families of Seido Sunnybank for a student who has impressed them throughout the year, with their embodiment of the Seido Karate principles of Love, Respect and Obedience or their perseverance and dedication to their training and fellow students.

Highest Attendance Award

This award is presented to the student (not an instructor) with the highest attendance over a 12-month period ending 30 November.

Tournament Senior, Junior and Overall Grand Champion

This award is presented to the student(s) who accrues the most points (3 for 1st, 2 for 2nd, 1 for 3rd) across three divisions: team kata, individual kata and points kumite (or shadow kumite for juniors under green belt).

There is a junior winner (student 15 years and under), senior winner (adult) and overall winner (one of the two winners).
